Kensington Puzzles is a company that specializes in creating unique gifts for people. Clients are able to choose from a variety of design and message options, or can opt to create completely custom puzzle designed specifically for them. By owning their own production press, Kensington Puzzles is able to control every aspect of the design process, giving them a huge competitive advantage.

THE WEBSITE
The old website was not very user friendly, had an outdated design, and did not accurately reflect the company’s full product range. The website felt cluttered, and visitors had trouble finding the specific product they were looking for.
As we started setting up goals for their new website, we discussed at length the direction for the future. Guided by what we learned during our session with them, we outlined 3 main goals for the redesign: 1) provide visitors with the ability to easily customize their design, 2) build out a robust navigation, and 3) make sure each product had detailed information to cut down on inquiries for that information.
Once we got a sense of their focus and style, we worked together to create an ecommerce site that captured their spirit and expertise. We were responsible for all aspects of development — front-end, back-end, puzzle designs, and interactions. The user journey was planned to culminate with the final call-to-action, but the custom user flow utilized an enhanced product details page that called out the customization available for that product.
SOCIAL MEDIA
The Tiny Treat Gang website was built to accommodate a large audience and perform well on a wide range of devices and browsers. To ensure a smooth experience for everyone, we optimized the site based on device capabilities. We implemented a system that recognizes a device’s computing performance power and adjusts the number of animations and scroll effects displayed accordingly.
